Prime View will soon be
releasing to production a 5.0" portrait-mode digital
TFT in full VGA resolution. This is the latest addition
to Prime View's growing product line of small to medium
size digital TFTs for industrial OEMs.
Prime View's 5.0" VGA display will be offered in
both transmissive and TMR (Transmissive-Microreflective)
modes. TMR will allow OEMs designing products for
outdoor applications a viable option for outdoor readibility.
Both the transmissive and TMR versions will be offered
with a CCFL or LED backlighting option.
Sample quantities will be available in October-November
2005, and mass production is scheduled for Q1 2006 release.
